About Motor Learning

What is Motor Learning?

Motor learning is a set of internal processes associated with practice and experience leading to a relatively permanent change in the capability for motor skill. Motor learning depends on Motor Control processes impacting the learning of a new skill, for example appropriate force generation and appropriate timing of select muscle groups. Motor learning is a process focused on cognitive and environmental factors to facilitate new skill learning. It is not an intervention.
